The Gravitas Passion Academy Scholars Program (PASP) is an exclusive, year-long college and career concierge service designed for students aspiring to gain access to the most selective universities worldwide. PASP offers a personalized and in-depth approach far beyond traditional private college consulting services or in-school guidance programs.

PASP stands out for its highly personalized approach, devoting extensive resources, including networking, passion projects, character development, and story building. Gravitas, as an extension of the Stony Brook School, provides flexibility in meeting times, internships, and extracurricular opportunities, catering to the unique needs and schedules of each student.
Program Components
1. Personalized Guidance and Mentorship
- Early Start: Guidance begins as early as 7th grade, focusing on self-knowledge, personal growth, and college and vocational exploration.
- Individualized Support: Each student receives personalized mentoring to identify and develop their unique strengths and passions.
- College and Vocational Discernment: Helping students find the "right fit" colleges and programs through thorough exploration and tailored advice.
2. Character and Moral Development
- Every Nations Scholars Program: Students gain global exposure and opportunities by collaborating with students in this program, which aims to include a top student from each country. This fosters a truly international perspective and collaboration.
- Character Formation: Emphasizing the development of virtues and personal traits essential for becoming changemakers who positively impact the world.
- Moral and Spiritual Guidance: Integrating values and principles that help students grow in wisdom, resist destructive temptations, and develop a strong moral compass.
3. Real-World Projects and Experiences
- Passion Projects: Students engage in social impact projects that highlight their character, skills, and passions. Examples include launching businesses, NGOs, products, and services.
- Global Exposure: Opportunities to study and work on projects in collaboration with local partners and students from around the world.
- Internships and Research Opportunities: Leveraging networks such as Faith Driven Entrepreneurs (FDE) and Stony Brook School alumni to secure meaningful internships, research opportunities, and mentoring.
4. College Admissions Readiness
- Comprehensive Admissions Guidance: Expert insights into the college admissions process, including crafting compelling personal statements, excelling in interviews, and maximizing the impact of extracurricular activities.
- Holistic Application Strategy: Creating a well-rounded application that reflects each student’s unique strengths, interests, and character.
- Extracurricular and Leadership Development: Tailored advice on selecting and excelling in extracurricular activities that align with personal interests and college goals.
Program Structure
Monthly Schedule:
- Large Group Meetings/Workshops: Once per month, focusing on general college readiness, character development, and global trends.
- Grade-Based Meetings/Workshops: Once per month, providing targeted support tailored to the needs of each grade level.
- 1:1 Meetings: Two 30-minute sessions per month with personal counselors for individualized guidance and support.
Daily Activities:
- Character Formation Program: Daily activities designed to foster personal growth and moral development.
Travel and Summits:
- Learning, Service, and Missions Trips: Optional travel opportunities aligned with student goals, offering practical experience and global exposure.
- Fall and Spring Summits: Included for full-time SBS and Gravitas students, with additional options for part-time and outside students.
Deliverables
- Personalized College and Career Plan: A comprehensive plan outlining academic and career goals, strategies for college admissions, and personal development pathways.
- Passion Project Proposal and Execution: A detailed proposal and implementation of a passion project that demonstrates the student's skills, interests, and social impact.
- Internship and Research Experiences: Securing and completing meaningful internships and research projects aligned with the student's career aspirations.
- Character and Leadership Reflection: A written reflection on personal growth, leadership development, and future aspirations, integrating experiences from the program.

The Gravitas Passion Academy Scholars Program is designed to develop well-rounded individuals ready to excel in college and beyond. By providing personalized guidance, character and moral development, and real-world project experiences, PASP ensures that students not only meet but exceed the expectations of top colleges and universities. Our program equips students with the tools and mindset to become impactful changemakers in a rapidly evolving world.

- 6-8th: $6,000 per year
- 9-11th: $10,000 per year
