"We decided to enroll our child in Gravitas after considering several local private schools. Most days our child receives 4.5 hours of live instruction and every minute of every lesson is engaging and meaningful. What's impressive about the learning experience is that our child learns more than content, he learns skills. He learns how to consider perspective and analyze sources for reliability. There is a class that is dedicated to study skills, time management and organization - things so important yet never really taught or discussed in most schools. We most appreciate the daily character lesson; this is a daily task that we know is going to help develop the best version of our child.

"I have spent the last 15 years in a classical homeschoolsetting but my son needed more rigor. Gravitas is a classical, online private school that has HIGHLY trained teachers. My 9th grader is being challenged and it's great! They also offer many amazing electives that as a homeschool parent I used to shell out thousands for... so this is really incredible!

I was concerned with my son leaving his homeschool community and learning online. Gravitas has solved both issues! Your child won't be able to sit like a bump on a log. They are graded on their participation, oral presentations, oral tests, and homework. Topics are discussed. School is NOT a monologue. Also, kids are NOT in classes 8 hours a day. This was important to me. Gravitas really seeks to build community with the students. The administation/teachers respond quickly to questions and concerns. My son has met other children from all over the world and he has still maintained his local friendships. We love this school!"

"This is my daughters first year at Gravitas. As a parent, I am very impressed with the teachers my daughter has. They are skilled professionals who not only teach (in person online) but are able to create a community with their virtual students. I appreciate her having a live (online) teacher and classmates. I believe it is a more effective way for her to learn and all around healthier for her. This was one of the reasons I selected Gravitas. I did not want my daughter merely reading the information on a computer screen (like most of the other online homeschool programs I investigated) and teaching herself.

I am also a huge fan of Gravitas's Chapel and Character Formation Class. I agree with their motto Character before Career. This course is well designed and guides my daughter into learning about virtues, forming good habits and deepening her faith."
