The Gravitas Application Process
Thank you for your interest in Gravitas: A Global Extension of The Stony Brook School for your child. Our partner organization A Better Chance (ABC) has shared your child's materials with us. Following are the remaining steps in the Gravitas application process:
- Submit the Gravitas Application Form on Finalsite
Gravitas requires that ABC families submit our Finalsite application form in addition to the SAO because Finalsite is the platform we use to produce and send enrollment contracts to the parents of admitted students. Please complete Gravitas’s Finalsite application form as soon as possible (it should take a maximum of 15 minutes). When you're ready to submit your child's application form, please email our admissions director Mrs. Alyssa Bieneme at alyssa.bieneme@sbs.org, and she will waive the application fee and submit the form.
- Submit the Clarity Financial Aid Application
If you will need tuition assistance, please apply to be considered for Gravitas need-based financial aid as soon as possible. The application should only take 20 minutes of your time. Here is more information about this process.
- Send Your Child's Current 2023-24 In-Progress Grades
If you have not submitted your child's most recent in-progress grade report, please email it to alyssa.bieneme@sbs.org.
- Schedule Your Child's Gravitas Admissions Interview
Please select a time slot on Mrs. Bieneme’s calendar for your child's 30-minute Gravitas admissions interview.
Please reach out to Mrs. Bieneme at alyssa.bieneme@sbs.org with any questions. We look forward to collaborating with you on your child's Gravitas admissions process.
